Downloading music

does peope uploading from your pc or the amount of people uploading from your pc afffect the speed of your computer?

u musnt hav windows xp, when u click close connection it shud work.

Close connection then go to the queue list and delete from there by right clicking

yeah u hav to wait, or u can try and ask them for a free slot, which half of the time doesnt work!

yeah i had kazaa and was getting the same problem,

went on to limewire which was class for the first day and after that it gave up the ghost and would not connect and if it did it was only for half a second

now using soulseek (recommended by fizz) but windows media player is getting on my tits since soulseek dosent have a player in. im sick of waiting in q's too.

and another thing....... you know how you get tunes from all over the place? at different volumes coz of the different people they have been recorded by?

do you know a program which regulates the volume? just save pissing about with vol ctrl every 2 mins

I cant see any other program beating soulseek for music atm. Even imusic the new one by Apple is shit!

Ive started using Direct Connect aswell as Soulseek. I dont really think its any better tbh. I think Soulseek has more tunes, altho I havent spent hrs looking at DC. Only problem I hav is the queues with Soulseek. And really, DC has queues too cos if they ppl ur downloading from dont have any slots, you jus hav to wait. :evil:

i think DC is by far better than soulseek! DC has over 1800 people in the oldo's hub, u might hav to wait for your song sometimes, but who cares
