I'm both allergic to their hair, and get all scared when they bark (even jack russels, little cunts).

Although the allergy might be completely psychosomatic.

I imagine the companionship must be great though (but not picking up dog shit).

its not cruel to have huskies in this country, if you have it from a pup its not trained as a working dog and can therefore fit into a normal family life, as long as they have a nice big garden and are walked regularly. If its a working dog from a rescue centre then it best that you have facilities. My only worry is the massive influx of people buying huskies at the moment, can only mean an increase of beautiful dogs like these in shelters.

It's cruel to have any long haired dog in ibiza, we saw a lochlander there once and it looked like it was about to die.

Do they not have the instinct to hunt in thier nature though? Everyone that I know that has had one has had problems with them being too vicious and always misbehaving.

depends on their surroundings, i know people who have no problems with them. The only person i know who experiences stuff like that uses his as working dogs and has 8 of them. He lost one the other day that got off and just ran and ran and ran, he thought he was never gonna see it again and stumbled across it running along while out in his car.

I have a Bearded Collie who's one in a couple of weeks. I wouldn't have any other breed of dog now I've had one. I'd love another one but I'm not allowed.

The pics are canny old he's huge now!

Pugs are the way forward. I love them - looked into getting one recently

Look pretty easy to look after, especially the fact that they dont really need exercise :)
