    It's not a cold the dog has........

    he's booked in first thing for some chest scans and x-rays :( she asked if i wanted to leave him there with them till the morning but i couldnt.....

    what if its my last night with him? :cry:

    I hope so, since i got back from the vets he's started having loads of trouble breathing and he hasnt eaten a thing.

    I hope thats just cos he hates the vets.:(

    my dog has that exact same camp dog harness. small world.

    i'm sure he'll be fine, they would've done stuff straight away an not let you take him home if it was that serious...

    cos he's pulls sleighs in the snow, a skimpy little collar isnt enough to restrain him....:D

    VETS UPDATE

    He's had his xrays and vet says its either bronchial pneumonia or lung cancer. She seems to think it's not pneumonia but has given me some tablets for that, if his condition improves then its probably pneumonia but if he doesnt improve or if he gets worse it's cancer.

    I'm completely gutted.......all i can do now is hope:cry:

    I hope so, i thought before he went that it could be pnemonia but i never thought it could be lung cancer.......he's always jumping in cold rivers and stuff in cold weather so that makes more sense. We have a no smoking policy in our house so i dont see how it could be cancer......

    sounds like that will b wot it is then {pnumonia} its awful when they are poorly tho isnt it? cos they are so helpless cos they cant tell u wots wrong. dogs are part ov the family

    He is my little boy, i dont mind saying i'm a total mess and i feel hopeless cos i cant help him. He's my first child. :(
