... if you book about 6-7 weeks out when they first release the tickets, you can get them as low as 10 quid each way .... usual offer is about 40 quid for the return journey, but thats nowt when you consider how far your goin.

We've just been down to London.
We booked about 6 weeks in advance and it was £38 return which wasn't too bad.

I get flights down for next to nowt but that's to Heathrow.
By the time you check in, get a taxi into London etc it works out more expensive and it takes just as long.
Plus if I travel on BA I have to wear a shirt and tie.
The train is easy. It was the first time I'd done the train down and it was no bother at all.

    Nah.
BA do a fair few internal flights.
Not as many as we used to, there was a few knocked on the head about 18 months ago Newcastle to Gatwick being one of them.

think a few of you hit it totally on the head
repeating your nites out every week getting pissed
listening to same tunes mixed by different people
    gets boring and very repetative.

mostly it's house parties for me. Clubs seem to have the attitude that they are doing you a favour letting you in. I hate the whole queuing, being looked up and down by some bloke in black who could ruin your whole night if you look at him wrong, paying a whack of money for it all then being skinned alive by taxis on the way home. And it rarely feels like everyone is on the same wavelength either.
that's not true of all nights but I'd rather be with fewer people and a crap sound system in someone's house where we're all on it together, than surrounded by beer boys in some soulless box.
