I listen to all styles either when I'm kicking about the flat or out and about, mainly:

all styles of dance (apart from happy hardcore)
industrial/punk/thrash/etc metal (not much of the 'nu' shit tho)
    cheese! :D
fucked-up blips and bloops (braindance etc)
    old rock/goth
    classical n opera
    etc

I've been listening to his Essential Underground CD a canny bit recently.

I love drum & bass too, or at least some of it. I don't listen to it as much as I used to, but it's class.

    Marky's Movement CD = :king:

i dont' really listen to any other genres of dance music apart from electro/prog/trance as i don't download any tunes...

if i want a break i will whack on a cd which is usually just joy division or the futureheads at the moment!

if i ever had to listen to maroon5 or keane or something i would go mad...so rarely listen to the radio

Can't beat a bit of mesmerising techno. Switch to floaty trance depending on moods.

    Like Flaming Lips and Radiohead

Don't mind a bit of trance when I'm in the mood for it but generally never listen to Promise sort of music, I'm a rock chick at heart.:D

Same, pretty much. I listen to a small, limited quality of material outside the electronic dance music field - deep soul, a little rock, a little classical - but 98 percent of my collection and listening time is devoted to dance.

Something minimal is best if I'm doing something else - Sasha style prog, etc etc. Also listen to just about everything else in dance from time to time - trance, hard trance, hardstyle, prog, house, techno, electro.

Always have too - first music I used to like was about 92-93, when some commercial rave songs started to appear on the market :)
