Do you cut off all contact with your ex when they become your ex?

Wowh thats pretty deep but I have to totally agree with you. Things do happen for a reason and thats the best way to look at life!
And the keeping in touch kills you at first but once you move on and find happiness else where there is no harm keeping in touch or saying Hi wen u see them I still guess it depends on the situation. If you split up on bad terms if they hurt you then cutting all ties would be the best!

I again have to agree with wanting the attention to be the same! I know people that still text their ex and want them to do favours for them and expect them to get done straight away!

Surely if it was Love though and you really loved them and you split up you would want to see them happy even if the jealously was there! Jealously is natural! There is only one person that I really loved and we have been split up for 2 Years and I lived with him and he is seeing someone I know. At first I was jealous but its nice to see him happy and after all I have moved on and I couldnt be happier!

it is always easier to make a clean break anyway in my opinion. plus that way you always leave the chance of an oppotunist 'for old times sake' shag open if you ever bump into them on a night out.

instead of spending weeks whinging about each other to your friends and eventually ending up hating them so much you can't even stand to be in the same room as them.

Yeah thats defintely the best thing about cutting a fine break and bumping into them months later - the old times sake ! It happened to me with my ex ex! And to know that I still has the power to win him over felt great! I never really botehred with him after that!

Its not fighting talk at all. Im jus very curious to know who it was. I dont know anyone on here that knows him. Theres not many peeps that live near or even know me on the board. Didnt appreciate the really friendly txts this afternoon like!!!! i think Ill keep my mouth shut from now on!!!
