They were at the point of finalising the deal but you couldn't decide on Diet Lemon or Cherry and the whole thing collapsed... DJs eh?
didnt him leaving help vuzz? HE was a good dj probably still is by the way dj ing abilities - impressive organisational abilities - NIL I still say geoff the chef and cyber ted would be awinning dj duo then again they sound like 2 wwf wrestlers really!?
coming to terms with his sexuality versus the fact that he is not going to be an A-list dj (joking) personally I like the lad, but I think he is bored of the whole "can i play at your local night" thing :spangled:
hee hee hee. and in response to wot or scott or whatever we call him in my opinion paul is the best thing that ever happened to vuzz he was a shit hot promotor!! i didnt see any of the other previous promotors pulling in the names that he did!!
of course its about pulling in crowds too, dont speak to me like im stupid pike i was just mentioning that he pulled in lots of good names!! and...i dont recall any of my unior college classes being centred around the ins and outs of club promoting
Shes got a good point. Paul leaving vuzz can only be a bad thing. he's a good promoter and if im being honest if it hadnt have been for him vuzz would have fell flat on its face. but we'll see.
call him whatever you usually call him rachel, you've met him enough times over the years at various after parties when we were all in a plight..he's a pal of Dave, Jules' mate... In the context of Vuzz, Scott has worked along side Paul since Lee stopped doing Vuzz, and is equally responsible for any big names that have been brought in. Granted Paul did start off on his own, but after he asked me for some help putting a businnes plan together I put in touch with Scott, who offered to help him run the night. He just wasn't as public a face as Paul Now Paul has buggered off, any good that happens to Vuzz will be purely down to Scott Bearing in mind he's been dropped in it from a great height on all counts, financially and otherwise then anything that happens from here is a bonus. Maybe your fella will get his set now eh? I know he was dieing for a crack at Vuzz but 'great promoter' Paul wasn't having it..
my handbag collection is pretty extensive, I'd have to have handbags at dawn, mid-morning, dinner and tea.
Yeah that be about right. i was sooo desperate to play infront of the same 20 peeps u get down there every week in that basement you call a venue. LMFAO Oh and paul asked me/jim to play btw.
jesus i was only referring to both of him names as i know him more as scott than wot, however if i had simply called him scott this message board 'massive' would have had no idea who i was talking about!! and what in gods name has this to do with mik..?!? paul asked him to play ages ago lol!! and dying to play at vuzz...?!?! i can assure you that he wasnt!! dont start getting all personal jane, i'm just expressing my opinion that paul was a mint promotor and that he is one of the most honest and most deisent people i know and it isnt very nice to try n drag his name through the dirt on a message board where so many people know him.
here here its all gettin a bit ridiculous now i think it'd best for all parties involved to drop it as its not gettin any1 anywhere.
Well said mate. Personally i dont know scot but know paul and it was uncalled for painting his name over the board as already pointed out. i for one wish scot all the luck in the world with the running of vuzz in the near future, the only point i did make was that they'll be losing alot without paul helping out. but thats just my view. Ya right about the scene aswell
Very True. hopefully they'll get back up and running and get things sorted out. we need small nights like vuzz up here its good for the scene.
