just watch out for the owner of the place... although saying that, your 'mates' have probably told you about his 'tendencies' :p

if you don't know, just ask rufus - she knows the crack...

    Arrogance (Ar"ro*gance) (#), n.
[F., fr. L. arrogantia, fr. arrogans. See Arrogant.]

The act or habit of arrogating, or making undue claims in an overbearing manner; that species of pride which consists in exorbitant claims of rank, dignity, estimation, or power, or which exalts the worth or importance of the person to an undue degree; proud contempt of others; lordliness; haughtiness; self-assumption; presumption. "I hate not you for her proud arrogance." Shak.

Synonyms -- Haughtiness; hauteur; assumption; lordliness; presumption; pride; disdain; insolence; conceit; conceitedness. See Haughtiness.

    "proud contempt of others"

    I like it!

but juski is right - any clown can be arrogant, but it isn't earned, mainly becaus it doesn't take any effort. Respect is earned because you have to win the appreciation of others. To be arrogant, you don't have to win anyone's opinion, you just got to look down at everyone else.

I'm not debating this, this is very true.... however when a gimp like Juski attempts to pull this off (and please - it doesn't come natural he's trying to get a few cheap laughs).... it just doesn't work it would be like glitter angel trying to snub j-lo.

That is where u earn your arrogance, J-Lo has the right to be arrogant as she demands respect... Juski and Kerry haven't got a chance as they're laughable characters themselves. They ahven't earnt their arrogance - they have no right to be arrogant, therefore they can't pull it off.

In a DJing sense, jus has earned the right to be arrogant. He's been there, done that, got the staff shirt.

And don't slate being a trades DJ - it's a lot harder to get in there than you think (I never did as a DJ, and I'm pretty good). Juski was one of only two people who got a job there without brown-tounging the owner. He got his current position because of the reputation that follows him.

And as for J-Lo, people put up with her because she's famous. It's not all about arrogance (look at the celebrities who have been ridiculed for acting in a similar or bizarre manner) The fact that she looks nice also helps (when was the last time you were nasty to an attractive lady?)

Personally, if I met her and she gave me any crap, I'd slap her :p
