me and hotlips played at our mates wedding and it was facking brilliant . . we didnt do any chart stuff just loads of 60s 70s 80s and 90s stuff . . the laptop crashed halfway through so me and a pal grabbed the mic and dived into an impromptu rendition of Youve Lost That Loving Feeling. . . EPIC

You reason it would of been good was it did not involve consett or people who live in Consett.

On christmas eve i will be making my yearly trip back to grim central not sure i can face drinks in the town centre any more though.

One of gareth mates got glassed in the face on Christmas day that sums the place up to me.

We're not all that bad... Just most of us.

Stay clear of the trades, chaplains, braes, time, decades, and that strip joint and you'll be fine

I grew up there alot of oldest friends come from consett, the first time i ever played out was in old wechief.

The good poeple are best folk you can ever meet my housemates from consett its just a shame theres loads of stupid violent close mined thick cunts live there.

To be honest it gave me loads of confidence just to be myself and not follow the heard which alot of folk in consett do.

My parents house in rowley which is lush and the town has come on loads in 15 years.

Could never live there though i find newcastle to small a city to be honest, never mind consett.

It was certainly fun tonight... you would have thought the factories had finished early for christmas! Full of wankers.

I hate this time of year - seasonal drinkers who only come out during this month, they can't handle their drink and all they do is start fights
