woah, what happened with promo

Ok i'll give a bit of info on what went on.

I set off to pick promo up at 6pm, got to Leeds Bradford at 8ish. Got a phone call from Ste saying that Promos flight had been delayed and that he wasn't coming.

They was some to and fro about was he/wasn't he with regards to the delayed flights, bearing in mind everything was booked and paid for in advance, it then got to the point where there was a break in the weather and his flight could leave, due into Leeds at 9:30-10 UK time, which would of meant him playing the last set 12-1/1:30 which would of worked fine, but after we thought it was sorted we got a phone call saying Promo decided not to get on the flight.

So Ste (the guy who booked promo) was left there around 8-900 quid and a room booked in leeds at promo's request out of pocket and a head line act down.

But not to be down heartened a few phone calls later and a drive from teeside and the North Easts own Unit 13 - Jon Flynn steps up and plays an awesome set.

To be honest it wasn't the planned night, but I don't think we could of had a better one.

So sorry to hear that. I'm sure the booking fee will be returned if you guys had a contract etc.

As for the booking fee we have been told by his agent that we are getting it back but he has grounds of natural events (bad weather) on why not to refund it, but I don't think they will go that route.

Nah Ste and Mickey started it but Ste is putting pretty much all of the funding up him self.
