TBH it's a problem the world over, I got started on last week in Error_ so it's clearly not just a Digital problem the door staff on Cosmic also let some undesireables slip through the net.

There are always nob ends going to get past door staff .. like a lot of people say , people can change dramatically after a few drinks or whatever ..

I think the purpose of this thread is to prove how hard it actually is to stand on the door and choose whos trouble and whos not .

Was a taty in Cosmic Habit December who half aggressively asked if i was gay.

I returned the favour to him.

Daft c*nts all over at the end of the day.

He was later outside waiting for a taxi starting on his mate, think Graham or someone was gonna give him clip  Allie was also walking around shouting with a bust hand

Proper agro that night.

digital must be the only club in the world where the queue jumper and non paying guest list queue;s are longer and take longer to go down and get you in than the normal pay on the door, i mean whats going on there

at least twice recently, ferry at evolve in feb and good greef march, the queues were massive and I am thinking "ooo its ganna be chocka when we get in", we get in and its empty to begin with

are digital employing the old "nice at rockshotts lets make the queue look as long as possible down waterloo street tactic from 1996-1999" so people think its the most popular club ever

    Good idea !

I tried to go to a rock night at that place next to Buzz (forget the name), near Ikon, after a Steps concert wearing a Steps T-shirt, hat, scarf, glo-sticks, stickers, cups and flashing devil ear's. The bouncer asked me if I knew what kind of night of night it was and wouldn't let me in coz it was a rock night.

I think having randoms just patrolling the club looking for potential bother makes more sense.

last time i was at digital, there was fuck off huge queues. fucking nightmare reet up into the middle of the square fucking queues. i am flash and cool and rocked up in the "guestlist" queue/scrum, after about 15 minutes i got in, i noticed the regular punters were forced to pay £12!! i am off the guessing that this is the major malfunction...

...if it was £10, boom tenner on the table, bang ticket you're in, next......£12, bang £20 on table, wait while young (gobby as fuck, orange faced) lass counts out 8 pound coins.......... mulitply this by say, 1000 and that's fucking ages in the queue for mr paying customer.

now there's a little conundrum here, do mr/mrs evil club promoter charge an extra 2 quid and slow the door down but make a bit more, or do they do it for tenners get em faster but potentialy make a few quid less? would you really lose THAT much? would a lower door price get a few more punters in?

I liked Foundation as much as the next person, but I remember people moaning every week about the doormen, and in particular, the lanky one ;)
