I got well into acid house and old skool rave when I was a nipper, then also started liking hardcore, but when happy hardcore came along I avoided it like the plague - most of the tunes are too happy for my liking, apart from owt by Dune (Hardcore Vibes, Hand in Hand etc  ) and Nakatomi's Children of the Night, cheesefests! When I discovered gabba I was well chuffed - happy hardcore with no happiness :) But I still fucking hate it when I hear gabba with an MC

Btw - anyone hear the Sharkey Revolutions EP? Was mint :D

I never used to know the names of the harder stuff (which is a shame) but i do remember "rush hour" & "wonderful days" both getting me dancing! As far as MC's go 'sneaky eye' used to raise a smile or two in my crew how

Got into it the same way as darkdrums went to 8 Rez's far to many jd/s 2 Helter skelters even a Nightmare in Rotterdam before happy hardcore came in.

It totally killed the rave scence filled into full of charva's into shit tunes went to uni and got into techno and house and everything else.

Still love old school house, techno early breakbeat and some of the full on rave stuff hence i dj Acid House and oldschool techno and run influence a retro night.
