Developments@Promise

As you know iam more prog minded but I think this sort of argument will be sorted when the new floor opens and hopefully Promise will have a room soley for prog with maybe the likes of tyrant doin guest slots. *fingers crossed*This would then solve the problem if the third floor is opening,anyone heard more on this??

When its said its jumping on bandwagon now is beyond me, because there change to progressive was jumping on the bandwagon, just like crasher. And as much as did enjoy the nights with likes of Lee Buridge, the crowds were dying and it was slowly getting worse, and if it hadn't made the change i would probably said that Promise may not exist anymore.

Like Smart E said Promise is finding its own sound now, ive been going from the trance at the start through the progressive back to trance. And it is now they have found the right blend, they have a good crowd and a good average attendance. Things are good for the night and the general thought among the clubbers is the same.

can anybody really see promise going back to being a mainly progressive club, especially after how good friday nite was? personally i dont think there is a chance in hell of it happening...i mean look at how good friday was and then this message board proves that promise has a loyal following cos of the way it is at the moment

Promise is promise, its a wicked night to itself, i was never really into proggy stuff but with the proggy start to promise ive started to appreciate it, i couldn't do a whole prog night but i do like to hear it to start of the night thanks to promise!

promise tried prog n it didnt work! nobody went, coz people would rather go to sleep in their bed than in a nite club (sorry had to get me 'prog is borin' dig in)

its a business after all........n if there aint the crowd for prog then they aint gunna play it.......theyl go with the majority.......coz the majority is usually rite

i remember when promise went prog - parks and wilson was the most boring dj set i have heard EVER in all my loooong years as a clubber.

promise used to feel big, empty, cold and souless when prog ruled - contrast that with now??!!

Promise is soooo much better now than a year ago when prog was on....
but, i did have some good prog nights, Burridge, and dave Seaman....
but its much better now, the new crowd is really nice and friendly, the atmosphere has actually returned!!!!
