It was mint, haven't been too one for a while. Great to see people who we havent seen for a long time. Everyone was in a great mood so the vibes were great too. Few munters and WRECKHEADS when i turned up at 8pm but a party isnt a party without a few turkeys whether they're festive or not. Music was good, James Wilsons set was a little treat, shame he couldn't have went on for that last 5 mins. Good job you found the cd in the end tho. My ears couldn't stand the elements tent but other people were loving it. Stanley Massive rave tent was a laugh as usual.

Glad the busses got out in the end cos i was getting bored watching from the cosiness of my fire.

Thumbs up all round i think:D

i had a riotously good time. Sorry for whatever happened to Smigs. some cracking music and Djs the site was good, pity it rained so much so there was a bit of a mudbath but I don't think it spoiled anyone's night. Nice to see folks again. I think there was some logistical nightmares and people not delivering what they said they would which meant a lot of rejigging but I think melt pulled off a blinder myself.

What happened to the house & techno tent then? Was some canny DJ's down to be playing there, cancelled due to poor ticket sales?

Apparently so mate! Thats what Ive been told melt was telling people on saturday. I was stold he was offering my set at kiddstock aswell!

End of the day I'm not gonna stand around while he slags my mates of and treats us like shite. And I'm certainly not going to stand there while he tells my lass he cant be bothered talking to her and then later on to F**K OFF! Like he said to slash he has bigger priorities than the likes of me, mick and hutch and the other local DJ's. Also according to mr melt he could sack all of us because we dont bring anybody in!

In other words he dos'nt pay us and thats what were worth. He burned alot of bridges on saturday and pissed alot of people off! mainly the people that have supported him and helped him out in the past. Not just DJ's but other people. Iaint mentioning names cos it's not fair to bring them into this, but the deserve a little respect from. It costs nothing to be pollite to people and respect there feelings.

He goes on about principles and loyalty (thasts a laugh) unless he's paying you £600 he thinks no more of you than a peice of shit on his shoe! And he stated that himself to a very close friend!

(remember dave "I'm paying paul glazby £600, and what do I pay smigs. nothing) If thats what were all worth to you by sticking by ya, no wonder everyone else you had helping out in the past jumped ship! You showed your true colours on saturday mate.

I dont care what he comes back with and starts with the "I did'nt say that" and "you've got it all wrong" blah blah blah. He should be careful and look around and see's whos standing next to him before he says stuff.

And before you come on here saying I thrw a strop your talking shite, A strop is when your going off it looking after your own interests. This time I had with the way you mess everyone around that tries helping you at. I'd love to say "you dont pay us enough to put up with your strops and your bad manners towards people" but hey, you dont pay us at all do ya!

So yeah you can tell I'm pissed off a little dave. Maybes people should go back to taking the piss out of you on here like they used to cos you deserve it, instead of you taking the piss with people that suport what your doing! While your at it change your username to "MUD" pal!

Agreed with everything youve said on here!

I asked a few weeks back he would give me a break from the texts, calls and pm's i had recently lost my grandfather, busy finishing off my last year at uni, as well as switching jobs and sorting out loads of shit in my old job which i made clear - what did i get???

a bunch of calls, texts, messages on facebook, messages via friends for me to get in touch - which i stated id be in touch when things had calmed down

I wouldnt have run off with the 10 tickets - in the end i got so fed up i organised for a mate to offload the tickets and my boyfriend to text him to lay off

I just think he could have thought a little especially when i for warned him of my circumstances

No one can say i havent put a lot of effort and time into detox the past few years

Exactly what I'm on about mate. I know the running around you've done in the past for detox. You've always done your best to help out. It sounds like you got the same amount of respect as the rest of us!

Really sorry to hear about your grandad aswell J :(
