ive been thinking about what you said the other day.

evolve lacks imaginative bookings!!

have a look at the lineup for gatecrasher vs retro which was on the other day.

they have all played at evolve.

so that must mean either
1. evolve are doing something right
or
2. gatecrasher also lack imaginative bookings?

I would be very happy if you could clear this up for me.

i posted in the other thread, that they had ALL played for evolve very recently.

Gatecrasher hasn't been particulary astounding or pushing the boat out and trying to be risky - which with their reputation, you think they might try to. evolve isn't a globally known brand so is, in my opinion, trying to balance success with money making line ups against more 'trainspotter' line ups in a very fickle (newcastle) market
