i'm sorry, but i just read on the judgement day vs regen thread about someone giving threatening calls to detox, alledged to be linked to digital or regeneration or whatever, and of posters being taken down... i'm sorry, but that's utter bullshit. no-one at digital or regeneration would bother themselves in that way over any night or clash of events. it's just not proffessional, it's ridiculous behaviour. to insinuate so on a public forum is fucking out of order.

i have attended detox's in the past, good events, much love for that etc etc, but threatening phonecalls and "rival" posters coming down is NOT how things are done.

if your posters have come down its probably because most posters get taken down by enthusiastic youngsters who put them on their wall... everybody did it when i was younger... it generally indicates the night is going to be a success... i would have thought that was obvious. and wasn't detox busy?

newcastle's a small city, with everyone doing their projects and pushing good quality underground music. thats why newcastle is so great... nights like freaky dancing, curves, junior g, hooked, cause and effect, detox, turbulence, rollies for mice, backlash, etc etc etc.... its a small community and everyone goes to everyone elses events... let's leave out the "allegeds" and the "rumours", just get on with it, and have a fucking party...

He's on about the bloke that runs that night that was very briefly held at Powerhouse who Melt really has an issue with, and so started saying things about Detox dj's playing for rival nights will never play for detox again etc etc.
