You know f* all about music, we've watched the footage back from the camcorder and the whole night progressed in a proper fashion with the music as far as I'm concerned. MOS did an awesome job warming up with Lee Haslem taking things more trancey afterwards. Kai into a techno style was immense then myself and James Wilson b2b followed by 00 Flemming and the rest....

People like you prefer to be at venues where the numbers are far less with minimal supermarket checkout bleepy nonsense, and the punters are more concerned about the state of their hair and powdering their noses than having a good time on the dancefloor.

600 people through the door, door had to be closed at 12:30 due to excessive numbers and was '1 in' - '1 out' for the rest of the night.

I have to disagree. It was far too hard, far too early. Many people agreed with me. There was no flow at all. This was evident when Fleming came on and played what he did.

Also, your brother won't like you 'pigeonholing' like that. I don't think Linzi is like you described at all.

Gossip was good then I got there pretty much as fleming was just about to start and from the last track Static/James Wilson played I thought it might pave the way for him to build up through some prog and trance but he just banged it out. Was gutted he didn't but he was still good, more 5 o clock in the morning stuff for me I couldn't keep the pace at all. His last few tracks were unreal mind. Caught a bit of proteus, although he seemed to just pitch up some psy and turn up the volume a bit then loads of people arrived from nowhere.

Had to leave after that as I was drenched with sweat and loads of pikeys from school were there being cunts.

By the sounds of it what's missing is a decent warm up of dark driving tribal and deep prog from Gary Proud?

In the way Matt Hardwick used to do it so well at Gatecrasher, Sasha and Digweed have made a living off it and moved on and Richard Tulip used to do it so well at Promise.

None of this banging it out eh just a proper journey ;)

Was a cracking night, a think it was only so hot as they are probably not used to having so many in there, sweat dripping from the room is where its at,proper old skool style.
Melt/Static did well to sort out 3 rooms into 2 and still get away with it with so many different styles on.
JOOF was really good, hadnt seen him before but was impressed, he played the right set for the night he was at, if he had played proggy would have spoilt the flow of the night.
Left at 3 after Savage, hope you played well smigs.
Ears are still ringing now but off out for the match then the boxing tonight.
    Bring on the next one:p

I agree, Sasha was shaking in those little welsh home made slippers of his when he seen a particular warm up of mine for Adam Sheridan.

146 punchy warm up. Gaotta be done.

Glad it went well, it was obviously going to be hot in that venue, it was red hot when overload was on and there was less than 100 people there
