I don't actually think anyone realises how much effort and involvment goes into these kind of events and the financial nightmare it causes.

As far as the events go, this is more than likely going to be the last one for a long time - myself and melt are coming apart at the seams and I know for a fact I'm certainly going to give some people a piece of my mind on Friday night. They know who they are.

Yes... and Fids (apologies) but I wasn't just talking about tickets. I'm talking about the stewarding, organising & overall production side of the night. I'm on one at the minute so anyone who annoys me on friday night will be at the end of a verbal believe me.

There's a lot more goes on behind the scenes with any club night especially as detox causes a massive rift between me, my brother, and the family everytime an event takes place. I've quite frankly had enough and can't be fucked with the hassle anymore, It's no wonder Melt is querying if he should pull the plug or not after this big 6th birthday gig.

The whole thing started off around my birthday years ago and each time people just demand bigger and better, with more and more dj's, better lineup's and everything else. If we do actually think of doing anymore, they will be back on a more intimate scale with fewer dj's and less stress. People have always said they come for the atmosphere anyways so the true diehards should come wether the DJ line up costs 6 grand or 6 quid.

There's a lot of financial worry goes into each event and people don't seem to realise that me and melt have senior jobs with a lot more to lose than most. I haven't got the time to devote as what I would like and the whole thing just drives a wedge between me and my brother.
