welcome to the cut throat world of promotion. why pay when you can get it for free?

Doesnt mean i cant be awkward and point things out though does it, so whats your point.

Mine is that i set out to be awkward whilst at the same time come up with great moral values which the nucastle tinterweb community should take on board.

I dont actually care but threads like this keep the board active. At least im contributing instead of whinging at how shit its getting whilst bumming interweb characters im probably never going to have a real conversation with.

my point is its neo-human nature to aquire anything for free these days. so if you can, regardless of moral obligations towards the poor listings without stickies, do it (and for free for that matter)

this is completly my own personal opinion, but i think moral values should be learnt through real life experiance and/or scrubs. not a clubbing forum.

you do have a point tho, i'm not denying that mate, but when it comes to promoting a night and mates who know mates who know people with the right connections, then fair play to them. i can garuntee that huge clubnights had to do the same to get where they are. its the business they're in, like so many others.

why be nice to people you dont know? theres no point.

Wax On get stick as well, i express my unwanted opinion on their no shows all the time.

Unfortunately i dont tell people what they always want to hear and most of the time they dont like it. Thats their problem.

    Night night. xx :D

wax on get stickied because they are genuinely nice people who dont send emails to djs managers slagging off other local nights and encouraging them not to play there whilst at the same time contributing enormously to the underground nature of the local scene by booking annie mac

tbh , when i heard this had been sticked I asked M.O.S to unsticky it cos its cooler to have abusy thread that is a none sticky

we paid for a banner which imho is a better promotional tool than
    a stickied thread

was a proper class night, never been to a detox before too. loving the decor and the lasers like, everyone seemed well up for it.

proper creased at these two uni doyle lasses trying to get in for nowt at the start, arguing with the doormen the lot, so he sent them to the back of the queue, then said to his mate, 'just knock them back'

i love them doormen me like theyre proper cunts.

After attempt number 765 to lose me phone and getting it back yet again Ive realized that me and him are gonna be stuck with each other for life, and the Detox crowd are the soundest bunch of people you could ever wish to meet  Most of the night seems to be a bit of a blur, apart from impressing Madame Zu with my finger puppet :cool2: I was trying to get her to adopt us both
