Shindig should put Lee Roberts on like they did when Darren Emmerson cancelled!

Certainly did. They own Forensic too ;)

They should book Lee burridge & Craig Richards instead of Deep Dish. Although 5 hour Lexicon Avenue set sounds just about as good.

    Tyrant

Don't think Shindig would be able to get Tyrant away from Fabric on a Saturday night. They've got the best residency at the best club so I don't think they'd play anywhere else.

    Re: Re: Re: oh oh!

Jambon, you've got me confused now...

Do you mean you'd rather see AVB than Richie?

    or

you'd prefer to see AVB or Richie rather than Lee Roberts?

Dino / Simon E are both djs I like, but I prefer Lee any day mate. How do you mean he's over-rated?

Smartie, feel free to make a bitchy comment me being in love with Lee if you wanna. I DO love him

Re: Re: Re: Re: oh oh!

You don't need me to make a tit of you dood, your doing a good enouigh job - lee's gotta be half your age :D

I think Jambon is implying a lot of folks on this messageboard praise local dj's because they're local/friends... Richards a class dj, but most people would chose to see AVB over him...

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: oh oh!

So you're saying you aint allowed to be friends with ppl younger than you? Lee's about 0.84 my age, he's older than he looks :p The reason I became friends with him is cos I used to be upstairs at promise a lot when he played, and liked it, got to be friends with Jamie Fuckhead (0.70) who introduced me to Lee n Vickie (0.81) cos he thinks I'm cool as fuck

Implying anything is always tricky on here, it's so easy to be mis-understood. Is Jambon saying that he'd rather see PVD than Richie? How is this relevant when he's talking about Simon E, Dino and Lee Roberts? Who is he comparing to who here?

Basically it sounds like he's talking shite, and you are too Joe. Is it not cool to defend someone you like as a DJ if you also like him as a person too? Must be REALLY uncool being old too :p

hey why the dig at me? I was helping your aging self get your head round Jambons point...

His point is by a shed load of people Dino and PGR are bigger/better dj's... That aint my point - I aint a backroom boy...

And why do you always have to bring up your age... every1 knows your past it and far from cool.... come find me on friday and I'll give you llessons on how to walk, talk, dance and drink like a hip promise kid

Sorry Joe, heeds in bits today, had a bad weekend, bit touchy*

I didn't bring my age up, you did!

It's just slightly pointless when ppl state an opinion and back it up with nothing, saying a DJ is "over-rated" without any proper criticism of his tunes/style/whatever tells you nothing! I know I always promote/defend Lee on here, but neither him nor Vickie ever get on, so they can't do it for themselves (and you wouldn't want to get into a fight with Vickie about it either :D

    Re: Tyrant

They never would, but it'd be nice, and one of the only duos that could compensate for Deep Dish. Tyrant, Sasha & Digweed, Stanton Warriors and Layo & Bushwacka! are about the only ones who could.
Can't really see Stanton Warriors playin Shindig tho!

    Re: Re: Re: oh oh!

Jambon, Lee plays nothing like the style that Simon plays- thats like comparing AVB to Picotto or something, now stop talking shite!

Also, Lee is one of the most underrated DJ's I know, if you choose to think I'm ass kissing then let me get on with it and I'll let you finish kissing Simon and Dino's!
