    am i right in thinking that the only black door in town is the one at the biscuit factory, and that there's no longer one on clayton st?

    Your bang on like, it was a far cry from the ad and the food was gash, could have went to cafe spice and took me own drink and got about 35 courses for what we paid there. Never again like.

    It is called the 'Black door Brasserie' & it's owned by Dave kennedy, so i can't see how you think it isn't? The food is the same as the other one and the one in Morpeth.

    Went not long ago, very nice. It's been done out since, not sure what's been changed though.

    I had a lovely meal at Six at the Baltic, had the lamb and it was beautifully cooked.
