Yes Pike! I would be most grateful! Will Sally be out? Do you think promise should book Dangerous Dave?
Chris......... pleeeeeeease dont cry if Promise do ever book Dave Pearce! How does a crowd of chavers in promise make you feel uneasy? I usually see them minding their own business, chewing their lips off, telling everyone how much they love them? Is that how they make you feel uneasy? It would make me feel a bit uneasy but I could think of worse!
Yes search the forums for Dave Pearce and you will find my threads about Master D! He is no different to Ornadel so I dont see how ppl can say no?
The only time that I have seen him was at that Radio 1 Whitley Bay Field thingy a couple o years ago. He played a good set. Quite hardish. As long as his live sets don't reflect from his radio show I wouldn't mind seeing him. 'RolL aNoThEr PhAt OnE dAvE'
just bcos ther booking him eh.. dont be a sheep rozz! book someone who plays tunes without pics of blond birds on the vinyl sleeve
Clubs are a business and if a clubs full and rocking then its a success - yeah ?? Dave Pearce will fill a club and the majority of people will be happy ! Nowt wrong with that.... Therefore thats a success !
If you ever get Dangerouse Dave Gypsey Toothed Pierce at Promise you have to make sure you get the Garage MC that was on with him at Tall Trees. The place went mad for it!!!!!!! Every one was chanting, Dave Dave Dave Fuckin Pearce, Dave Dave Dave Fuckin Pearce, Dave Dave Dave Fuckin Pearce................................... Promise will get that too if Dangerouse Dave Gypsey Toothed Pierce is ever there.
yeh but dont u think the beer bandits will be out in force! they will be fookin goin crazy if dave pearce is on!
If Promise want to make a quick bick then they should go and get the Pearce man. But i think a clubs -reputation is important in attracting more and more people outside of newcastle to the club. Dave Pearce and the people who he attracts do not give a club a country wide reputation as a place you can go to and listen to quality tunage in a nice relaxed atmosphere!
Attracting people to the club from further afield would be good for the clubs reputation, especially as Promise launch their nights at Hull! Im finding it hard to understand what you are saying..... are you saying Dave Pearce would prevent Promise from getting a good reputation if they booked him? I hardly call Promise a nice relaxed atmosphere!I would say it's atmosphere is totally kickin, wild and full of loved up nutters! I really dont understand what you mean (though I have tried to). Do you think booking Dave is a bad thing for Promise's reputation or a good thing?
Mr crasherkid........ what are you talking about? Are you trying to be witty or are you actually trying to make a point? And dont call me a sheep again!
think the dude is trying to say a club with little or no attitude... ie chilled in that no one struts about looking for fights n that... Personally i aint gonna make the effort to see him while im livin down in London... I might see him if i was in Newcastle, and had nothing better to do, but overall, really aint that fussed... I think by booking him, a few heads would turn up and down the country, as in WTF is he playing at Promise for, but overall i dont think it would do Promise much harm, if any.
Im not really bothered about seeing Dave Pearce either, if we was to be booked, I would go along as I haven't seen him before and would like to form a stable opinion of him. I dont think Daves crowd would really upset the atmosphere at Promise, the boucers do a good job, I've had as much trouble with chavas as any other type of people in the club, and I dont know anyone who have had great trouble with them at Foundation!
i don't want to see dave pearce. however there are thousands that do. dave pearce could actually go down quite well @ promise, just not my cup of tea! far too much stuff like the earthshaker would get played!!
you have all got to be fukkin jokin?! whos idea was it to ask about dave P? are u serious mark/rich/rozz? NO WAY! would u see him playing @ passion/crasher/GG? NO! u would make promise a joke! im sorry, but NO! wrong image! way off! its bad enough having John kelly headline! try and get some new ppl! different! innovate! pulser! above and beyond! jon o bir! Alex Kidd!! COME ON!
true dat.. they re enough djs that havent played in Promise, to make sure u dont need to resort to Dave Pearce... Blanks n Jones, Thrillseekers, Frank Trax, Dumonde, Corsten, Cor Fijman (i know thats not how u spell it!) Astrid, Pulsar, Slynus, Brandon Block, Rank 1, Don diablo, etc.etc.
