tell you what dave, it's dead simple - if I move my date for you (ie do you a massive favour) then I don't expect to see you on the message board the next week having sly digs at freaky dancing particularly not with stuff that's utter bullshit. and it might have slipped your mind, but I did tell you we had the 3rd march booked at the same time that you told me you were doing a date middle to the end of march - you may well have asked me several times when our dates were, and originally we were planning to do the start of feb but got gazumped and had to move... most people though would take the latest information as being correct, or ask if they're unsure. Shit happens and it should work out ok, I just don't expect to see you bullshitting about us when we do you favours - it's a simple little thing called respect.
gav , one point here , you just admit you got gazumped for the feb date , so obviously thats the date you planned you know that i often put out misinformation so that people dont guess our lineups from djs websites when they can match our date to the date djs are playing if i didnt have recpect for you, i wouldnt have pulled our event on july 9th 2005 so that you could run a wharehouse party which didnt happen , I wouldnt check on your lineups so as not to duplicate / double up on local djs when you planned to have auni gig dec 2nd 2005, and i wouldnt try my very best to avoid your gig dates in 2007. for the record we are avoiding jan 26th as its freaky jan 27th cos its freaky feb 3rd as its elements , feb 16th cos its evolve feb 17th cos its good greef, feb 24th cos its hard dance awards, feb 23rd cos its freaky march 24th cos its tidy weekender and most of march cos i predict a gods /evolve, so really the only date open to us at this amazing venue we have found is march 3rd. up until I got an email last week i wasnt aware that march 3rd was your new date, you are coming across like Ive gone after that date on purpose, when its been booked since start december so youve never ran your events when you knew other promoters had their gigs on the same night, as you say stuff happens I am appreciating the favour, and have been big enough to apologise for a bad ass joke that spiralled to bad place but howay take it in context, we are more respectful than most in this city and you mor ethan most know this ps: laser is still there if you want it :chill: I'll see you leazes park, bring your weapon
yep we did have to change our plans, but found this out back end of november / early december and told you about it when you said you were doing mid-end of march, though you obviously don't remember the conversation. I know you didn't do it deliberately, and it looks like we've managed to swap dates, so no harm done and yes I appreciate that you try to avoid clashes as do we. That set at Wax On was average by his means. Ive seen him play much much better than that loads of times. He was still good though!
WELL ITS chris and dave END jAN I THINK THEY WERE TRYING TO GET SPEEDY J but dont know if thats happening and am pretty sure marco bailey is on last friday in feb cos its listed on his website which i noticed when I was sniffing around on there at start of december, but i honestly thought it was wax on who had him so big respect to gav for pulling this off
