Lady Dana's set was the only time i left the room, i thought it was poor and sounded the same every track. But Jules played the best set of the nite for me!!!
Indeed! Its cuts me good n proper .... can stand to be in the same room as it. Nowt but randomly (dis)arranged noise.
it was horrid Break featuring noises that made me want to die, then the beat kicked in for about 25 sconds before another breakdown
i thought above & beyond set of the night imo, then jules, tulip, dana was okay, EG is still king of the hardstyle though
I must be some sort of musical freak I like Hardstyle, hard house, hard trance, trance, and most house(not funky soulful stuff though),but my first love will always be techno And i like abit of drum n bass now and again. I thought Dana was mint, she did'nt take me on a journey of spiritual discovery but so what, she just nailed it for an hour and a half and then some:bang: :bang: I danced right through her set. How often will someone like her play in Newcastle? Each to there own though.
I was sober though and anything else wouldnt have had me jumping for the whole set.. I actually felt a bit drunk after her set as i'd been jumping around so much I nearly lost it I've never heard anything that hard before in a club (maybe at the boat ny but I never really took much notice) and maybe if i'd been off it I'd ahve prefered other stuff but on a straight head Dana was definately what i needed to get me in the mood. I'm the same as u mutematt... i like everything u mentioned there.
Anyone list any tunes that Jules, Dana and/or maitland played then? I want to refresh my memory cos its blank atm. Who played a theme from a horror film? think it was sampled..
I can't remember any particular tunes that got played, never do after a night out:spangled: :spangled: You downloaded Mark Maitland's set from a couple of promise's ago? Its goodstuff, bit diffrent from his ikon set though. Check the thread on Mark Maitland,he has posted acouple of tracks he played- http://www.promisealways.com/forums...adid=41980&perpage=15&highlight=&pagenumber=2
