The Doc is right about denim. I dont practise it as much now but back in the day i didnt wash my jeans much esp my really expensive clubbing ones, all u need to do is hang them on the washing line (i didnt do this if it was dead sunny as sun bleachs cloth) for a few hours and the breeze blows the smell out of them. It sounds minging but jeans dont really need to be washed unless they have major marks on them u cant hand wash off.

If I buy a per of jeans £150+ I would never machine wash them id get them dry cleaned and even then not very often.

Yep, just air them. Good suggestion on not putting them out in the sunshine, too.

Apparently machine washing dry denim is best, on a cool wash with very little washing powder, as it makes them fade properly. I've got a pair of dry Nudies from Christmas that I'm too scared to do it with, though.

Alexander - you obviously have a load of shit denim then.

nah honest u would be suprised what a good days airing out does. what would make it stink? sweat? u dont sweat much on your legs and the airing gets rid of that.

I hardly ever wash my pure Wool tops as well but u have to wear a tee shirt under them or the pits WILL smell

Diesel isn't the best denim as it's mass-produced. I find that Diesel stuff always turns horrible after it's been washed too.

For the money you're chucking out on Diesel stuff, you could buy much better jeans.

my pairs are fine on a regular machine wash. no issues at all with the embroidery as long as i turn them inside out, save yourself some cash.
