Collingwood has been playing brilliant though, and he's a local lad, would love to see him in the test squad
Its nice to have these selection headaches tho Bell, key, Peiterson, Colly, freddie, thorpe its not a bad bunch of players to make your middle order out off after Stauss, Tresco and Vaughan opening
My test side would be; Strauss, Trescothic, Bell, Vaughan (c), Flintoff, Pietersen, Collingwood, Prior (wk), Hoggard, Jones, Harmisson
I would go Tresco Strauss Vaughan Bell Peiterson/Thorpe Flintoff G Jones Giles S Jones Hoggard Harmy Colly and key on standby
I wouldn't have Vaughan any higher than fourth. He's not in good enough nick to bat higher than fourth. If we lost a wicket in the first over I'd rather have Bell going in at three than anyone else. I'd leave Thorpe out cause he's just not fit enough anymore to last the five days. Pietersen replacing him. Prior is a much better glovesman that Gerraint Jones, and a better batsman too, so it's only sense to play him ahead of G. Jones. And the bowling attack selects itself really, but I'd drop Giles for Collingwood, mainly because Gile's isn't a spinner of the ball ... where as Vaughan can spin it when he bowls, leaving Collingwood to play the fifth seamer and the seventh/eighth batsman.

[/B][/QUOTE] Got to have a spinner in the side for the tests ..... The way the weather has been, the pitches are dry and there is no pace in them ..... On his day giles is a quality spinner and no Phil Tuffnell with the bat ..... pretty difficult to be as bad as Tuffers with bat I suppose..!!
Giles gets wickets and bats well you gotta have him in the team 6 seamers just wont work, think we picked the right team
