I love bellers, almost as much as I hate souness. I think town supporters are equally divided in their opinion of him.

Its just the ones that love him are hardly going to give him a standing ovation at the same time as so many others baying for his blood.

Our best player of this millenium so far. :worship:

It's the same reason everyone hated Bowyer until he actually played for us, cause he's a poor cunt. He was an amazing player for us, but he's one of the biggest bellends I've ever heard about!!

Bellamy isn't the best player newcastle have had in the last 7 years. Granted, the bloke has skill, but he's severely lacking in the attitude department. Even those who thought Shearer was a bit long in the tooth over the last 4 seasons would agree that he's been a better player than Bellamy. And the's the examples Alun gave, most of which are far better players

Bellamy can't keep himself out of trouble. He proved it at Newcastle, Celtic, and now again at Liverpool. As a player you're nothing unless you have a team mentality and the right attitude about your game. Bellamy doesn't, as a result he'll continue drifting from team to team and he'll never be the outstanding player that he is capable of.

February 2002 Receives a caution for hitting a woman in a nightclub

March 2003 Charged with racially aggravated harassment outside a nightclub but later acquitted

March 2004 Throws a chair at John Carver, Newcastle's assistant manager

January 2005 Fined £80,000 by Graeme Souness for calling him a liar

April 2005 Abuses former Newcastle team-mate, Alan Shearer, by text

September 2006 Rows in tunnel with Newcastle coach Terry McDermott

November 2006 Bellamy cleared of assaulting teenage girl in a nightclub

February 2007: Increasingly irritated by the Welshman's jibes, Riise reportedly became incandescent and, surrounded by fellow players, the pair squared up to each other, trading expletives. Although things calmed down as the group dispersed and headed for their rooms, Bellamy apparently felt he had lost face in front of his team-mates and, having armed himself with a golf club, tracked down Riise before allegedly swinging it at his legs.
