We do have to bear it in mind, though I've only worked with a couple of US companies so far (IBM and Coca Cola).

i did this around a year ago
i would say around a grand per month TBH including all bills, you could do it cheaper, but you will be living in a shittip somewhere and eating aldi beans, you will also have a 56kmodem account

not quite the cushy deal i imagined, i wish i could have put up with my mothers bullshit a little longer, £30/week inclusive is to easy, nice to be independent tho.

obviously its a bit easier if you have somebody chipping in with the bills

i keep forgetting the council tax, had a letter off them last friday telling me to pay £210 within 5 days or else

It costs me and my flatmate £340 each to run my flat. I get my Broadband and cable for nowt with working for Telewest which is cool. Just have a loan, hire purchase, mobile and credit card on top. A son to support and a car to run...

All thats about £1k a month so its not cheap.

Edit: and my flat is in a nice area, is huge and lush so its worth the ££££ till i buy somewhere :D

i also put £45 of juice in the car every week which helps drain the bank account :p

If you have renewed your Broadband providers contract then you have to have a BT line for it to work over. So although you're not officially stuck with BT, you are. That type of Broadband (ADSL) only works over BT lines.

We have 4 cars, 2 of which are weekend cars and worth a bit as well as being irreplacable.....and 2 run arounds but 1 which is worth a canny bit, we live on the quiet end of stanley. There are no charvers, it's REALLY quiet, and we've never had anything pinched, or even played with.

Yet i used to live in Lockhaugh which is posh as fuck, and as i recall we had 6 cars stolen from outside of there.

It's the scum from the dodgey areas, they go to the posh areas to steal from cos the stuff they have is worth more.

Thats why sometimes if you move to a posh area your car insurance will go up as well, as the car theft rate is actually haigher.
