I can manage better than that, I've got a whole raft of games for the 486 and up that only use 20mb and require 8mb ram... doom 2 for example ;)

I've got a windows 98 pc spare in my room so I can play them all when I get a bout of nostalgia.

i had an amiga 500 with 1 MEG OF MEMORY, althought i used to use my Atari ST FM for a bit of music production - i'm sure i did a remix of 'cubic 22' with my old mastersound 2 sampler

yeah thats 3 years time, solid state will be in full swing by then and offering alot better performance for price, this will push the price of raptors down by loads, the difference between a standard 7200 rpm and a raptor is easily noticable.

most hardcore freaks have two raptors in raid 0 and a standard massive 500gb drive for their weird porn, goth music and hooky films

    :D

some minor build issues...mainly down to the size of the cooler and gfx card, but nothing major and all is running well :D

Currently clocked at 2.7Ghz and getting 12600 in 3dMark06.

Going to go up to 3.0GHz fairly soon, but that will require some longer stability testing

Boots slow as fuck since i installed a bunch of vista updates though :(

not really, nice case, would look better with the side on ;)

I'm a big fan of the compartmentalized design... keeps all the hot parts seperate making it easier to keep the box cool :)

tidy case  that heatsink is a beast. i went for the style over substance approach, ive got the contents of a normal pc squashed into a htpc, gets warm like  i get 3.2 stable stock voltage from a e6600 using a stock heatsink and fan, quite impressed tbh considering the temperatures

well the picture was just to show off the internals :p

FYI the cooler has a blue LED as standard, my case aint windowed lol

I had to take out a drive cage (bottom right) cos I had nowhere for the PSU cables to go!! Case is an Antec P182, I like it!

Heatsink is indeed a beast, it's doing the trick too! Canny OC like lee, i'm thinking around 3.2GHz...i've seen stable 3.6GHz mind!!

Got myself a Logitech G5 and a Microsoft/Razer Reclusa (got to admire the irony of calling a gaming keyboard "reclusa", they must have been taking the piss  )

Next month gona finish it off with a 22" Samsung Pebble!

Gowansy - You won't be saying that when u get pwned before you even spawn. n00b.
