They're triggered by stress, uv radiation, cold... I've been doing my homework

someone told me that if you put perfume or aftershave on it gets rid of them- i dont know if it works like cos i'v never had a coldsore

I have a mouth disorder and i suffer from them that bad along with ulcers i've been hospitalised a few times! Hairspray and perfume etc just irritates them even more, the oral surgeon i had told me never to do this as it could infect your lip and make it so much more worse. Your best just to stick to using creams on them and let them heal in their own time.

put a dab of aftershave on ur finger then onto the cold sore....it'll hurt like hell but helps get rid of it!!

herpes and coldsores are the same thing, theyre just not called herpes when theyre on ur face...if u have a coldsore, and give sum1 head, u can give them herpes..which is bad.

nehow....dont buy nething to put on them...duznt work...just sooths it...like putting bonjela on ulcers...u only do that cos it numbs it for a bit..just rub salt into them...salt helps everything....yeah...rub salt in ur coldsores.
