I get your point but I doubt they are going to turn down any business because it has a music policy the same as somewhere else (presuming they arent being approached by nights of other genres).

Like I said , its a business , not a bastion of the dance music community (We've got Melt for that role)

this is why its important to have a none student based following that are mostly alcoholics in the age range 18-55

this is why detox has sustained itself in good times and bad

It will be strictly illegal raves/venues.

'Strictly come raving' - Yes! I have my spin now, just need to get into the music

    Yup I agree.

There will be plenty of nights that have simular music policy and very little experience of putting on a decent show that will just fizzle out.

Mind you, I didnt 'just scraped through' ...I think doing 350 for a launch night in a 400 capacity venue is ok ??

You can see across the whole 'going out' board that numbers are down due to the lack of spare money and confidence to spend it is hanging about us.

I dont thing Newcastle will get any decent venue's in the near future due to lack of proper investment and all of the narrow minded club owners in the city just wanting to make a fast buck.

you read me in the wrong tone of voice, i want it too succeed. Newcastle needs something else, cos everything else apart from the odd thing is fucking GASH! *(prepares herself for an onslaught of abuse)* ha ha ha

No i wasnt there i was putting my own night on same night, otherwise i probs would have gone....wouldnt have been happy to turn up and it not be ready for opening though. It was a bitchin' cold night!
