I saw a lot of cars going over last year on the ferry. Those pics have convinced me ... i'm defo going to this next year !! Shame it'll only be to watch though .... i don't think my Honda Jazz would fit in very well
classic le mans is every 2 years so you'll have to wait till 2008. i'm planning on doing regular le mans next year which should also be a blast.
fair enough. yeah the money is simply staggering, we estimated if the ferry we were on went down the value of the cars alone would of been into £50, 60m+ is amazing to think people have enough money that they can risk racing a £12m car. adrian newy, of ex mclaren fame, wrote off his GT40.. he was saying afterwards the repair will probably cost close to £400000 to restore using original parts.
it is original chassis, engine, etc.. only the bodywork has been restored. you can't race at classic le mans, if you are a replica though - so it would never do for my dad
Looks like a quality few days!! How many of you were in that fucking chateua?!?! Looked mint !! Your brothers got a hint of the Oakenfolds about him aswell!!
hahahaha what a bunch of complete and utter wankers. I fucking hate people who think those t-shirts are ever a good idea.
look good. i used to love going on reallies with my dad. He collects/builds classic cars in his spare time... was supposed to be going to Holland this year with him but he had to work... Revel...
confuzzled you take exactly the same kind of photo's as my boyfriend! we went to a hill climb and spent more time in the car park than watching the actual race lol. nice cars
