    I saw a lot of cars going over last year on the ferry. Those pics have convinced me ... i'm defo going to this next year !!

    Shame it'll only be to watch though .... i don't think my Honda Jazz would fit in very well :lol:

    classic le mans is every 2 years so you'll have to wait till 2008. i'm planning on doing regular le mans next year which should also be a blast.

    yeah the money is simply staggering, we estimated if the ferry we were on went down the value of the cars alone would of been into £50, 60m+ :eek:

    is amazing to think people have enough money that they can risk racing a £12m car.

    adrian newy, of ex mclaren fame, wrote off his GT40.. he was saying afterwards the repair will probably cost close to £400000 to restore using original parts.

    it is original chassis, engine, etc.. only the bodywork has been restored. you can't race at classic le mans, if you are a replica though - so it would never do for my dad :lol:
