I'll see your "any news on your lot smashing a window on one of the swansea coaches?" and raise you some good old fashioned Stadium of Light SAFC racism - http://www.kickitout.org/news.php/news_id/5693
unlike yours, it's being investigated..plenty of people on the boards, saying there's no place for it..
Still happened tho and still an SMB who did it. You bring up something NUFC "fans" did, I bring up something an SMB "fan" did our jest continues....
i'm saying there's no place for it, but as regards the smashed window on the swansea bus honestly couldn't care less about a few idiots, as much as you don't care about fans of the same team fighting with each other - I only care about what happens on the pitch #footybanter
O'Neill now has a worse record than Bruce.... Sold a £12m dud by Citeh when you bought Adam "North-East biggest signing since Owen" Johnson Fletcher now injured Bottom 3 before Christmas and relegation a real possibility... Sacked or will he walk?
^Unfortunately the toon are in the same boat regarding league position. We are low on confidence. This Wigan game is going to be tough - its terrible that Im even thinking that
we're just having a blip, and it's only been a few of matches, Sunderland's crap form stretches for over 20 games - O'Neill's / Sunderland's form has been terrible except for about the first 6 or so games when he took over it's Pardew's first blip since he came, was bound to happen sooner or later, i'm not too worried we played much better v Stoke, but lost due to individual mistakes, nothing Pardew can do about that
Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill warns of relegation fight... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20575823
'One swallow doesn't make a summer' a good result for you lot last night, but do you honestly thing you're back? i didn't see much of the game, but i thought the sending off was very harsh - fortunate to also get a penalty, as many refs would have waved it away... any encouraging performances?
I wouldn't say we're back but it was an encouraging performance, albeit against ten men. The penalty was a bit dubious but he had to go once it was given because he was clean through. The likes of Ferguson, Ameobi and Bigirama will hopefully improve because they aren't anywhere near the finished article, but Anita looked a bit better, I think he'll turn out to be a decent player. Overrated Tiote had an alright game as well, he only gave the ball away 30% of the time, and he didn't get booked!!
I am aware that one swallow doesn't make a summer, but it's not as if it was our first win of the season was it? Getting back on track takes a win, which followed an improved performance against Stoke (despite the defeat). So the signs are there. Like I said, Anita was outstanding, Tiote made a difference, Santon was outstanding as per as well. I think it was a red card because Cisse was clean through, the defender was the last man and he didn't get the ball. Didn't SAFC beat 10-man Wigan? If so I don't really see how you can complain about them getting a man sent off against us. All this crap about NUFC being lucky. You make you own luck, simple as.
Good to see that SAFC idiot on Twitter got banned after saying he wanted NUFC fans travelling on a flight to Bordeaux to have a "Munich"
true enough, as regards the twitter idiot.. as regards our result against 10 men wigan..i think there's a massive difference (you probably don't though!) between a player being send off after about ten mins and getting a penalty from it, than a player sent off after 48mins... add to that, the sending off against us appeared to have been a 2 footed lunge, whereas the sending off for wigan against you, was a shoulder to shoulder and as i said, would often have just been waved away by the ref...
even American commentators are taking the piss out of sunderland fans! http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/f...-jumbo-sized-sunderland-fan-making-fat-jokes/
