Ha ha, definitely. Well, I ended up in Putney, as it was easier to get to work, but now I am moving to Shoreditch at the end of the month. It's round the corner from the T bar, just near the top of bethnal green road.
sweet, i was up there on Saturday, few pints in Hoxton Bar & Grill, The Reliance (on Old Street) and then pool in The Elbow Rooms on Curtain Road proper danger living round the corner from T Bar
Aye, it's about a 2 minute walk to my new gaff, which is going to be fun. Fancy checking out Damian Lazarus' night there, Stink, on a Monday. Again, that should be fun You been to Bar Music Hall yet on Curtain Road?
Even though its only 15 minutes on the bus from my flat to Liverpool Street,i hardly ever go up there...once my lot are settled in pubs in Brixton/Clapham etc then its hard to get them moving Burridge, Richards & Tolfrey are playing at T Bar on April 12th , trying to secure the Friday off work as we speak
I'm the opposite, seem to spend most of time around there, hence me moving there. Plus my girlfriend lives on Brick Lane, which is only 10 mins away. If you haven't been yet, check out the Big Chill Bar, just of Brick Lane. Wicked boozer.
Cafe Leon is rubbish and overpriced imo. What street you moving to Paul? And where's Jo living these days?
The Vauxhall Tavern is OK. I've only been in once on a Friday night, but had a good laugh. Think I am going to check out Fire for my birthday! It's a ten minute walk away, so it seems silly not to.
Jo's actually on Brick Lane, opposite Taj store. I'm moving to a flat off Boundary Street, just off Shoreditch High Street. I hear you are back for Easter weekend?
Yeah. Get there at about 8 on the firday morning, so I guess I'm gonna have to entertain myself for a few hours cos everyone will be recovering from digweed on the thurs night. You gonna be around?
Yes mate, I will be. I take it your sibling is going to see Digweed? I'm around all weekend, I will start to have a look and see what is on.
Nick, Kelly and Angela are going to it. I think it's at the cross, not sure though. Keep meaning to have a look and see what's on that wkend, but know where to start really. Best bet's just to keep an eye on posters round shoreditch and see what's coming up.
Yeah, I'm sure there will be a few decent nights on for us to choose from. Is it just the weekend you are back for?
There's some huge 10 room (allegedly) XFM thing going on in Brixton that weekend, I quite fancy a trip to the zoo...
My how the tables have turned. I seem to remember in Berlin how you turned your nose up at the very notion of going to the zoo. Zoo's rock.
