    yeh - its good for english football! simple really! when they are the last english team in europe then the whole of the country should be behind them - are u more english or italian dude? fair enough if your team Newcastle were in it (small chance really) as well as liverpool but there not - think about it - its not difficult :dunce: :spangled:

    i support sunderland but if newcastle won the european cup id still be glad.

    i like liverpool but id have rather seen chelsea in the final, liverpool arent as solid as chelsea

    yeah, it certainly doesnt bode well for the pool.

    as i remember saying in an earlier thread (i think it may have been a liverpool vs chelsea thread) that chelsea are the better team (by a clear margin imo), but liverpool beat them on grit, determination and heart - which is fair play, in fact i found it refreshing to see a team winning like that. But - i also raised the question - how long can they progress on luck, heart and hard work?

    I think we've just found out.

    i would like them to prove me wrong (preferably with gerrard and baros scoring, i have money on that :evil: ) but i dont think thats very likely, somehow.
