Just buy DJ mag, there's loads of adverts in the back then just ring round a few. They all beat each other for price. Takes a while but you save a few quid
how much do the 800's normally go on ebay for??? fancy getting one been thinkin of it for a while, probs gonna try and get one after weekender ect's all over. do u get many on ebay?? i never use it so havent got a clue!!!
There nearly in Beamish now Johnny - get with the times Its safe to say i am more than happy with my CDJ - the internet has been kicked to fuck and back and with the help from people on here and world DJ's i now have some CD/Record collection
Mirror Mix Pitch bend buttons a billion other functions It being too clever for its own good
they much cheaper than in shops?? think i'd probs just buy one new if theres not much difference like
:spangled: Cant imagine it ever breaking unless you used a hammer or something. It feels pretty solid and is awesome for scratching on.
got 2 cdj-800's now want a coffin case 4 them (always party with them n the 600) never use me dexx now (hardly)
dont pay £300 extra 4 a 1000 (cdj) lol only worth it if u play at foundation etc so u can save ur loops etc on a card lol theres also the breakdown notice but its shit! best working out 2mins b4 the end of the song start mixing lol, exactly the same really!!!
I have loads of CDR's but can't play them @ home, CDJ's are a doddle to use. Santa is hooking me up with an 800 Unless Dicky can come up with the cost price 1000mk2 for £620 He's waiting to hear back from Roni later this week.
I got my coffin case from westend DJ for £100- was the cheapest I could find anywhere-holds 2 cdjs an a mixer- got flaps at the front for loading CDs etc.
Personally I much prefer the 1000's to the 800's simply for the better platter resistance. I find the 800 platter much looser and less precise, whether you're willing to pay the extra boils down to personal taste really. Not a fan of the Denon 5000's TBH, despite the extra features!
the 1000s are much better than the 800s, so if you've got the extra £££ then go for it, but if you havn't, then the 800s are more than enough for the bedroom so just go for them! don't bother with any other kind of cd deck...the fact yous ee nothing but cdjs in clubs says it all really!
