    BMW 3 Series

Drinks petrol if you drive it hard unfortunately, which is pretty much all the time for me! ;)

Another jealousy tax in my opinion, to basically punish people who arent on the poverty line - old cars pollute MUCH more than newer cars with some horrific C02 output figures and pathetic fuel economy, and i cant see how an old man with a porsche he drives on the weekend, is more of a burden on the environment than say, someone driving a crappy old 1.6 litre suzuki swift that gets less than 30 miles to the gallon and drives it 10,000 miles a year. Doesnt seem to make any sense given their 'reasons' for doing it.

If anything, scrapping road tax and just putting more duty on fuel would at least punish people who drive thirsty cars on a per mile basis.

i'd just do a google search, or look on the manufacturers website to see what the CO2 output for the car is, and that will let you find out what the tax will be.

I wouldnt worry unless you are going for something above a 1.6 ....

.... Unless your planning on an Impreza WRX ;)

Iraq war costing billions:confused:, I thought this was a war were we were going to be quids in at the end. The US of A & the UK were going to piping the black stuff out or sending super carriers to go get it.

In later years Michael Moore was going to expose the whole fucking lot with a book & an movie.

Come to Australia. If you have a ute or similar gas guzzling four wheel drive, you can tax cuts as long as you say you use it for work, even if you work in an office - you just say you need the big space in the back for files etc. Drive a smaller car, such as a Suzukui Swift or whatever, you pay a lot more tax as it is not considered a work vehicle. Fucking screwed up

Thankfully im now 30 miles away from the capital in sunny berkshire so i get the chance to hoon it ;)

... when i lived in Richmond, you would drive for 100 meters before hitting a set of lights, wait for five minutes, then go for another 100 meters, .... over and over and over!

The smoking ban in public areas has made the smokers community even stronger and open.

If anything, smoking tabs outside a club has replaced the old gurning put-the-world-to-rights loved up friendships that were once done inside a club.
