How has it spoilt it for loads of people? Surely it makes it better, they're gonna save £7 each.

what agreements has detox made with the venue? you have no idea. what if they were to cancel because there could now be loads of people turn up without tickets ?
Putting nights like this on is really hard there's all sorts of shit to sort out. I know melt comes over on here as a nutter sometimes but in real life he is a sound guy who wants people to have a good time above all else. If he makes some money along the way well good for him. I doubt he's getting rich you can do the maths yourself.
All you have done by pissing on his parade is make yourself look like a cock.

a bit banter is good crack, melt is good at stirring up endless controversy and he does take the bait quite well, as well as dishing it out a fair bit

but its pretty sad that a select few have to show such a lack of respect to something he's organising and putting a lot of work into

regardless of what you think of the genre, or venue, or the crowd they attract, everyone always has a good time

i know for a fact that a large part of it is driven purely for wanting to put on a good party however can you blame him for wanting to make a bit back off it? and why not?

so the 602 would be running at 3am or whenever it finishes then will it?

or is there a taxi rank out there?

or will those who've decided not to pay for the transport laid on and getting the 602 instead end up getting stuck out there for hours getting in the way of the detox crew while they're trying to derig?

    I'm presuming it's £9 return, which ain't that bad is it?

The whole point of this has nothing to do with the price, its purely to try wind melt up.

not to mention what the local bules would make of dozens of the great unwashed wandering the green and pleasant country lanes of northumberland.

which would result in the hexham courant reporting on increased crimewave in the stocksfield area, as a result of a rave, a la matfen hifi reporting

Even if you prebooked a 7 seater it wouldn't cost £9 each..

On second thoughts I imagine conversing coherrantly over the telephone would probably be beyond the capability of most of the Detox crowd.. especially at 3am after a cheeky whiff of gas..

ah well that's ok then, go ahead, tell you what why not get some stickers printed up with the venue on it then go stick em all over the 'secret location' bit on his posters.

I take it the wind up merchant responsible for this thread will be volunteering his services to assist with any problems caused by him revealing the location of what will be a sold out event... cock IMO (the OP not mr morlinson)
