I work from home and my company have got me setup with BT Business 500 broadband package (paid for by the company. RESULT!!)
I haven't had any major probs but it's not as fast as my mate Vandenburgs connection which is Telewest Blueyonder.
When the BT engineer was installing it he actually said he would rather go with Blueyonder! Not a good ad for BT really.
But as I say, I'm not complaining about mine cos its for nowt (much to MOS's disgust)

I'm with BT........and never had any bother...i broke my modem once, but thats cos i dropped it

Other than that, its fine....certainly doesnt go down once a day! Never once gone down!

I'd say get ADSL over cable...since it used your existing phone line, installation and equipment is miles cheaper!

The performance is very close too (unless of course, you have 2mb blue yonder connection.....and you are a git if you do :D )

    Ever changing
In the past 2 years ive used NTL cable, Telewest cable, BT Broadband ADSL and Freedom2Surf ADSL.....

out of all of those i would say get Adsl - cable is shit by comparrison if you like things like kazaa and other upload/download thingies.

You can get adsl these days for 23 quid a month including vat - so its damn cheap. Someone like Pipex or Freedom2Surf are good isp's for that.
