    Me i had one, i had a fixed brace, and it does hurt, a lot, especially when you go to get it tightened, i couldnt eat for days after i got it tightened.

    What kind are you getting?

    Im not at all trying to put you off as it will be worth it in the long run;)

    i had the train track ones when i was in school and it hurt like fukk!!

    then a year after i got it taken off they went back to how they were before!!
    grrrr....


    anyways i'm gonna get my hc1 form in sept an then rape the dentist an get my teeth sorted out for free!!!

    when its first put on it hurts like hell for the first couple of days becaue you teeth are starting to move. (i suggest soup).

    after that its fine and you dont notice it.

    but then you get it tightened a coupple of months down the line and you get the pain again.

    but it is all worth the pain(trust me)

    I had one that I only had to wear at bedtime, it hurt like fuck and I hardly ever wore it, I wish I had done now coz me teeth are a wee bit wonky:)

    If you get a fixed one you can get little coloured band things to make it look pretty as well:D

    nope not me. my teeth are near perfect if not a little on the big side :D my 2 front bottom ones are a little wonky but no need for braces. :D
