I'm getting back into my sci-fi again - I've been reading Neal Asher (the polity books) and Alastair Reynolds (first two Revelation Space books are ace, the rest are a bit lame).

I'm going to order the book I,Claudius by Robert Graves to take on holiday.

    It's hard to explain.
It's about a man making a journey with his son by motorbyke and the philosophical and spiritual journey he makes.
It changed my outlook on life.

You should just read it. :)

i read a good philosophical read called "the way of the wizard" which too had quite an impact on my outlook in life..

by a guy called Deepak Chopra..

its a series of small stories about merlin & his assistant, who learns many valuable lessons is lilfe.. recommended.
