i have been attempting trance production for yrs - ive only recently got decent enough to produce reasonable sounding trance

if 1 bassline, 2 synths, 1 hihat sample and 1 kick sample constitute a trance track then i would have been a trance superstar like this fella who made "winter", long ago

This is definately a trance track, just made with a bit of subtlety and class and is not a complete racket like most trance these days.

You need to step out the trance bubble once in a while mate!

I dont think people would sit down at all. A warm up set with stuff like this would go down nicely. But warm up DJ's dont really exist at trance nights anymore, at 10 o'clock there'll be pikeys going for it at 140 bpm so you might be right actually.

Its nothing like what people call trance nowadays but rewind a decade and thats exactly what wed be calling it.
