    haha reminds me of when boro had our brazilian spree and signed branco, the world cup winner with 78 caps. myself and 17,000 other fans went to see his debut in a reserve game against leicester... i thought he'd be amazing but instead this overweight grunter strutted around the pitch and hoofed a 45 yard freekick into the river tees. we lost 2-0 :lol:

    didnt last long, he shot at every free kick but never hit the target. teesside folklore has it that in one of the few matches in which he actually played, to the astonishment of his teammates, branco stood up in the dressing room and delivered this rousing rallying cry… “pass, pass, pass, pass, goal! lager, lager, nightclub!”

    no wonder we went down :lol:
