Bullshit. Was down Liverpool for a few days over Champions League final. Virtually everyone I spoke to was a Scouser and a red. Saw one Everton top the whole time, and that was during the parade (a little lad , with a ferguson top on, who was on his dad's shoulders, who was a red). And now, as fans of the toffee nosed shites admit, the younger generation of Liverpudlians will grow up as reds due to the Champions league success. On Blue Kipper, the die hard Everton fan site (where racist and homophobic remarks are the norm), there are accounts of wives, sons, daughters, who have turned red over the summer. There's only two teams on Merseyside, Liverpool, and Liverpool Reserves.
