    since i work pretty much everyweekend am just gonna put down a weekend which is moulded from different holidays


    Friday - Junior G.
    Friday - 28thJuly onwards - Global.
    Friday - 24th August - Birthday weekender substance fest 2007

    And the fuckers still complain when i ask for time off :lol: :lol:

    I remember my old English teacher (who was Jewish) once told us that her kitchen had burnt down, because the timer on her oven had broken and it hadn't turned off when it was supposed to. She obv wasn't allowed to use the switch on it so she'd gone to find a neighbour to do it instead but they'd all been on holiday, and it went on for so long that it caught fire. She wasn't allowed to use the phone, so she had to ask a passer-by to ring the fire brigade who turned up, extinguished the blaze and presumably switched off the oven.

    you're not meant to work and they're seen as work activities.

    so we head down the synagogue do a bit of singing and dancing, eat cold food (or food cooked by servants or timers) and generally jew it up.

    it's all to do with the shabbat being the day of rest; same reason most people still have sundays off.... we're just more pious ;)

    if it had been a life threatening situation she'd be required by jewish law to ring 999, if a life is in danger its a mitzvah (commandment) to save that life.... but if she was just going to lose her house/kitchen then she was acting in a highly admirable way.

    I wouldn't have the will power to just stand back.

    Fri - work then meeting a lucky lady for a few drinks then hopefully back to mine for special cuddles

    Saturday - Work through the day then out locally on saturday and try and stay fresh for Shindig
