Sweet, if you dont mind let us know the outcome. watching the vid clips on some of the sites that help you claim your money back hopefully they may not even appeal, so you win by default which is normally the case according to the sites.

    Good Luck:up:

some banks are waiting til it goes to court before settling now.

there was something on the news the other day about a ruling on barclays not being allowed to charge this bloke anymore til his court case is settled

Its only right, if they are holding off paying out until the outcome they cant continue to charge

Just rang to confirm this has been sent out, iv'e now been told there is a £10 charge for this & I can only request this in my Branch - IDIOTS.

I can see why some folk may get bored of this & just leave it, iv'e only been on the case with Halifax a few days & sick of getting the run a round already!

The bastards sent a solicitor

Still, I told myself that if she was any good she'd be doing something more interesting than my claim, and got involved. Anyway, they applied for a stay, and I wasn't quick witted enough to pretend that I was on the verge of starvation if I didn't get my £150 back. Argued about travel expenses and got £20 for that though.

Really enjoyed the experience of arguing with a lawyer and a judge :D

Just got to wait on the test case now, unless I can think of some way to undo the stay.

It's this tossing test case. I was all set to talk about the legality of charges, had the law in front of me and knew what I was doing but it didn't even get that far.

The judge gave them a right bollocking for not applying for the stay sooner though.

The message is to carry on, but make sure you can think of a good reason why you're going to suffer if you have to wait a few more months for your charges back.

And don't say that you think it's just a delaying tactic, the judge couldn't have been less impressed
