my fave homemade sarnie is cold potato and bovril sarnies mmmmm

if you like bananas, try an elvis sandwich -

    2 slices of bread
    peanut butter
    banana
    butter

take the pieces of bread and spread with butter on one side, then fry the buttered sides in a frying pan, remove from the pan, spread the side thats been done with peanut butter, then the other (non done) side with butter.

chop the banana(s) into slices, plop onto the peanut butter sides then stick the sarnie together and fry the sides that havent been done yet. total indulgence mind.

if any of that didnt make sense, from top to bottom the sarnie goes

    butter
    bread
    butter
    peanut butter
    banana
    peanutbutter
    butter
    bread
    butter.
