Your posts would read so much better if you split it into different paragraphs though! :king:

Couldn't agree more. Not for the same reason though. I agree because it only takes one of the more 'popular' posters to disagree with someone in order for entire little cliques to jump on the bandwagon... This only tends to happen to less regular posters though...

I wouldnt just go along with something I didnt agree with just for my post count. Bit sad dont u think?:p

I was originally just saying that I had heard Mark had a bit of an attitude, Ive never spoken to him, and I dont like hard house so I dont tend to hang around on his sets. I have heard him make a few mistakes before, but then thats just gonna get into a debate about what makes a good DJ.

Maybe this thread is just a bit of a wind up?????;)

I've never seen the guy DJ but met him at the football and he came across as a very friendly bloke and very into Promise and the clubbers. I think all the guys that play (Promise punters) would agree.

That's the one thing that has impressed me about the way you guys all get on - definite community atmosphere.

Anyway all the best DJ's have attitude!!!

    BALLS

Yes i agree you do need balls to step up in front of a crowd but you dont need arrogance.

PS the best DJs in world dont have attitude problems
I.E. you dont see YOJI telling people to f**k when they were taking photos and climbing all over the dj stand.

It seem to my that the majority of people on this meassage board are to scared to write what they actually do think.

    Re: BALLS

Would u rather get thrown out?!?!?

Your not allowed to climb over the fucking dj stand... its there to seperate the dj from the crowd!

If he's mid mix and some sweaty little mong is trying to take his photo - he's every right to fucking lamp you never mind tell you to fuck off :D :p

    Re: Re: BALLS

    agreed :)

The best time to catch a DJ is when he isn't actually working. I know myself that I don't get much time to talk to punters when I'm at work, mainly because I'm raking through my cd folder / vinyl box for my next tune. I'm more than happy to talk to the punters at the end of the night, and they'll usually get a more meaningful conversation out of it.

Judge mark by the person he is off the decks... not by who he is behind them. It might sound stupid, but there's a world of difference between having a quiet chat with someone at the end of the night, and having one with a punter hanging off the side of the DJ stand when you're frantically looking for that vinyl YOU KNOW YOU PUT IN YOUR BOX BEFORE YOU ARRIVED AND CAN'T FIND  .

    Re: Re: attitude problems

Ok then type me list of djs a mile long that have got attitude problemls.

It seems to me that a lot of people need to look up exactly what arrpgance is
a feeling or an impression of superiority manifested in an overbearing manner or presumptuous claims.
