Loved the rating for the ref though! 9 out of 10!!! I thought he had an absolute shocker!!! A home team ref if ever I saw one! Disgraceful performance.

I thought the ref did superbly. In all honestly, that match was soooo tough to handle, and he did as well as anyone could possibly have expected.

Referee was class, the papers were garbage tho.

Had the nerve to get at rooney when vieira dived saying if rooney made contact he cud have broke his leg. So fuck he didnt make contact and pulled out.....therefore using better judgment and proving he's not as stupid as they make out yet they get at him

In the sun this morning frank warren reckons vieira would win a boxing match between the two cos of his size, reach & weight.......Yeah right Keane would rip his head off!

I honestly thought the referee lost control of the game. He missed too many important decisions. Missed a blatent penalty (how the linesman didn't see it either is bizarre!), let Arsenal players off with yellow cards & booked Rooney for time wasting when his side was losing at the time!!! How can you book someone for time wasting when they are trying to rescue the game & need all the time they can get? :spangled:

I thought he was biased from the start. Home ref through & through. Some may say it makes a change from Man U having the ref in their pocket, truth is I hate to see ANY team have the "extra man advantage"!

Let's see if the FA take any action over the cheaters. Cole & Viera both deserve bans for play acting.
