ya spot on mate!!! scene definetley needs dj's like eddie or else the scene would be boring!!!, but as you've said he's good at what he does, and he gets alot of credit and followers because of that but compared to the van dyk's & tiesto's of the world he's simply just another dj trying to catch up!!!
I just dont think he tries, he just picks any record out, scratches a bit and then plays another. He has so much potential that he never uses, I bet if he put his mind to it and played a good set without thinking about whether to do 'the crab' or 'the scribble' it would be much better. He needs to think more like a trance/hardtrance DJ
I saw Eddie in 2000, at Gatecrasher, the first time he had a big set, and he was really good. I really enjoyed his set. Although now i think hes nowhere near as good. But that probably my changing tastes.
The first time I saw Eddie he blew me away, was his Promise debut I think. That bosh! CD made him totally IMO, I even named myself after it on the board. Its still in my CD player now!
he should, ive seen him play hard trance and actually loved his set, never stopped dancing but the last few times ive seen him i aint been impressed!!!, again as you've said though he's a very talented guy, with oozes of talent just needs to apply it properley!!!
Agree mate.... Thats Why the likes of Tiesto, Van Dykand Armin are up there... Jimmy... i can do the crab you know i'll show you next time were out
BOSH 2 was definetley gash.........didnt he mix dreamland into pure thrust??? sure he did.....bad mistake!!!
nah i won't probley fuck it up and break my neck.... he mixed Bosh 2 then scratched over it after... been told...
Is that when he filled in for M.I.K.E.? He played the last set. We went on Dave's bus didn't we? He was fooking amazing that night!!
